Philippians 2:4
“Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”
If all of us are looking out for each other (spiritual reciprocity), the whole will be better than the parts, and NOTHING can stop us!
ACCOMPANY
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
"Two people are better than one because together they have a good reward for their hard work. If one falls, the other can help his friend get up. But how tragic it is for the one who is all alone when he falls. There is no one to help him get up."
Jesus Himself provided for the needs of all those He encountered, as did the Apostles. When it is done in a spirit of sacrifice, we can be sure that our Lord & Savior is pleased!
REACH
1 Corinthians 9:22
“To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.”
Paul never compromised the gospel but he did try to put himself in the shoes of those who were different from him so that he could open the door and communicate the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us do the same!
ENCOURAGE
Hebrews 3:13
"But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness."
Brothers & Sisters in Christ should exhort and counsel one another; should admonish each other of their faults; and should aid one another in the divine life! It's ok to admit we're wrong!
Let's help each other as we grow closer to Christ!
